Sam, your presentation of the sonnets was accomplished with
great artistic sensitivity. Your goals for this site coincides with
my own belief that a broad background in and understanding
of formal poetry is the key to unlocking the ability to write all
poetry with skill and flair. Your site Sam is an important step
in educating those who still have a passion for poetry and want
to become proficient in many poetic forms both contemporary
and traditional, going back to Homer and Virgil. I thank you, Sam,

Hey Sam,
This is a great site, you’ve wrote some solid and reliable articles that are descriptive, concise, and easy to understand. Great job so far,
I would suggest that you make a separate page for all the different poetry forms (which I’m sure you’re working on already) and include as many as you can, not just the most common ones. If you can include descriptions of forms like sonnet and haiku as well as obscure ones like ottava rima and pantoum, that would make this a much more complete and useful website.
